Lisa Edelstein, an American actress best well-known for House, a Fox medical drama. Growing up with conservative Jews in Wayne, New York City was where she set her sights to study acting at Tisch. Then, in the course of time she was involved in the city's club scene and made enough noise to get recognized by the media, while also becoming aware of the devastation of AIDS. She then used her background and fame along with her personal experience to create and present a program called Positive Me. In the following year she was employed by MTV to host Awake on the Wild Side. She began to appear in film and television productions following the end of the series. Initially, she was she appeared in small roles.
