Torrie Wilson

Torrie Anne Wilson was born July 24 1975. She is an American professional wrestler, trainer and model. Wilson is best known for her work with World Wrestling Entertainment, formerly known as the World Wrestling Federation. She was also model and Miss Galaxy competitor in 1999. She was then signed by World Championship Wrestling, where she was in the company from 1999 until 2000. In 2001, her appearances on World Wrestling Federation television were part of The Invasion (a WCW storyline which was later named the WWF). The most well-known stories were in 2002 when she feuded with Dawn Marie,[5] and 2003, when she feuded with Sable. Wilson was also member of the stable comprised entirely of females (i.e. the group of characters who are storyline-related) which was referred to as Vince's Devils which was canceled in 2006.Aside from wrestling prowess, Wilson has been on the covers of several magazines that include FHM as well as Playboy (which Wilson posed for twice, with one featuring both Wilson as well as Sable).Wilson was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019. Wilson's first wrestling experience was when she went to a World Championship Wrestling (WCW) event with her boyfriend in 1999. After the show, she was invited backstage to walk out into the ring alongside Scott Steiner. Then, Kevin Nash expressed an interest in a storyline with her. The first time she appeared was in the episode Nitro 8 February 1999 (later renamed "Samantha") The plot was that Wilson was lured into the company of David Flair by the New World Order. They appeared together at SuperBrawl IX on February 21st, when Wilson hit Ric and David hit him with Tasers. [15] Ric received the WCW World Heavyweight Championship by Hollywood Hogan. This was in an Uncensored match in which the Barbed Wire Steel Cage match took place. David and Wilson took a break in April from WCW television before returning to the ring in May. At the 1999 Bash at the Beach, Wilson served as the valet for Flair in his successful defense of the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Dean Malenko.
